Accessory Barrel Price Increase
« on: February 11, 2014, 05:01:43 AM »

Prices increased again.  And callsign.BULL was correct on the discontinued barrels.  The 243 superlight disappeared several months ago and now the 204 Ruger is swimming with the fishes.  :(

Just because the barrel isn't on the list doesn't mean it's discontinued, they may just be out of them until the next batch is made, all the rimfire barrels are still there, as is the Hornet which is discontinued as a rifle. Price increases are to be expected unfortunately.  :(

I have a gun auction coming up near me in a couple weeks, guess I will check it out more carefully for "handi" deals. They usually have 8 or 10 go through each auction. Meanwhile, I went to H&R1871 and they had the 2013 catalog up. Is there somewhere to get up to date, current info- or is that it ??

Seems to me the new eCatalog last year wasn't available until Feb or Mar, about the time they sent me the hard copy.   :-\ The Marlin 2014 eCatalog is available, hopefully the H&R will be added soon too. The 2012 catalog was a combined Marlin/H&R catalog, not so in 2013 and apparently not this year either unless they add H&R to it later, it's not now.

They still had more calibers than Rossi. It seams Rossi has discontinued most of their single shots.
