445 super mag
« on: February 07, 2014, 03:54:03 AM »
If a person wants to load 445 supermag
Do you use your 44spec 44 mag die set
Or is there a set of dies that do all three
Like the 38,357 mag,357 max carbide dies
I have seen a Lyman set listed on gunbroker
But the picture is of single dies.  Not a set
In a box like my rcbs dies
Thanks

I use a set of Redding carbide dies. Labeled .44 mag. I checked the sizer die, and with any manufacture's, the only carbide part is the little ring/doughnut, pressed into the die body. As long as the inside has been reamed out far enough, it works. The other 2 dies have to be adjusted out for the extra length, so no big deal there. gypsyman
We keep trying peace, it usually doesn't work!!Remember(12/7/41)(9/11/01) gypsyman

My .44 Mag Lee Carbide dies work fine.  I just back them out.
