I have no argument with your assessment, but the thing that immediately comes to mind for me is how the 444 does, I don't think it gets nearly the respect it deserves. Most of the others require reaming and modifications, but as an out of the box gun with factory ammo the 444 is hard pressed to beat. If I could wave a wand and just have one cartridge family available in Handi's , although it is tough, I would go with the 30/30 parent case; 219 Wasp, 25/35, 7x30 waters, 30/30, 32 win Special, and 38/55.
