Model 099
« on: February 26, 2014, 12:52:39 AM »
Hey guys I recently aqquired a Nickel mod 99 in 12 Ga. Couple of  things, it was cut down to 18.5 inches. There has been a set of adj sights soldered on  ::)  very crooked  :o  other than that its in great shape. I was looking for suggestions to trick this out a bit. I am thinking about a 45LC insert  :D choke tubes, fix or replace sights, recoil pad. Looking for ideas here. Or I could just offer the barrel for sale or trade. This will make #17 for me, but only the 4th heavily modified one.

Shortlane arms has the .45 colt chamber insert for you.  If you can't deal with the sights, you might be able to get someone to just loosen the solder and "slide" it closer to position.  I epoxied a set onto my .410 slugger and they aren't perfect, but they work well, so give em a shot too.  Mine puts 3 into 2" from the ones I've made and tried with slug loads.  If you want a choke added, I can give you a contact, but I haven't used him yet, albeit his pricing is good.  ;)
