« on: February 19, 2014, 12:51:25 PM »
we now have all three 17 hmr's rechambered had six rounds from a tight fisted friend that all went bang without changing the hammer spring. three bricks of ammo on backorder. project now on hold. got the reamer a solid pilot, from midway for $46.00 including tax on a sale and the three guns from buds were $568.00 shipped so just over $200.00 a gun total. we got three of the last four they had in stock.

Mine goes "bang" every time I pull the trigger since tuning the trigger for a lighter pull.

sounds great!!! have you fired for accuracy yet?  curious to see how the twist works for the Wsm verses the Hmr, anyone know what the rate is supposed to be between the two?   I KNEW I should have bought all the 17WSM ammo that I saw on sale (12.00) a box and they had 10 boxes, I stopped and looked for it again at walmart and of course it GONE!!!!

Cabela's also has some for $16.99 a box in stock !

Is the 17 HMR Sportster discontinued? I stopped by a local gunshop Wednesday and he called his distributor to see if he could get one for me. The disributor said it wasn't even in their system anymore - just the 22LR and 22WMR. It's still on the website.
