These are the wheels I will be using on the carriage I am making for a fellow GBO member.
I think they look pretty good and are the right size at 15 1/2" diameter. They are dished.
They came from Custom Wagons and cost $150 each plus shipping.
I could never make a wheel like this for $150. $:-\$

Didn't GunsonWheels say there was a problem with those wheels? Splitting cracking or something.

There are only two segments. They are steam bent I imagine.

Have you ever seen this guy from ebays cannon wheels. 417steam1
They are 7 segments not 6 but he told me he can do 6 segments for a bit more money. The only down fall is the small axel hole and no hub rings. They was priced to steal last year.

The mountain howitzer carriage has 6 felloes per wheel but the larger pieces have 7.

Wow the birth of the Brooks Napoleon 1" barrel. Followed shortly there after by the birth of the Elledge Napoleon Field carriage. Thanks guys for believing in me and taking the risk in building this gun. I think it has been pretty successful for you.

I just finished Napoleon carriages #10, #11, and #12.
Here are pictures. Three different colors.I am currently working on #13 which is already sold.

#9 still sits on my desk and is currently available. It is exactly like the one seen on my website here.
