I've been around horses and horsemen all my life and never heard of that.
We merely judged the horse by the width and flatness of the forehead.
If he had a narrow forehead and maybe a knot there, he was usually stubborn, and I had one like that who was dangerous.

I never knew any of that. Thanks. 2 friends of mine were killed when horses rolled over on them. One was likely an accident, the other was on purpose. It did a back flip and crushed her. Bob said he could hear her bones breaking. Another stud Bob owned grabbed him by the neck, picked him up off the ground  and slammed him on the ground several times. CHARLIE.  :( :(

yeah, it was a facebook video of a mule being broken, it finally turned around and but the guy on the right ankle, then dumping the guy off, they can be mean.
