It will be interesting to see how this turns out if the church takes it to court.

We don't need to go to a building holding many potential virus infected people to worship. Drastic times call for drastic measures. The Church will still be there after this thing has run it's coarse. I'm curious.........Is an anointed hankie better than an un anointed one? I believe in freedom of Religion, but when that particular body of that religion can cause bodily harm to others, sometimes actions must be taken. Those people are not going to be in that building for long, and then they are back among the general population. That preacher sounds like a moron to me. JMO!

If we are created it doesn't matter to the Creator what we believe, only what our Creator believes and we are to be in compliance with it, and we have a lifetime to get it right. Very few here are getting it right, maybe that is a part of the demise of GBO as we have witnessed.
The anointed cloth is scriptural and is a way G-d desired and still desires to bring His healing and restoration, to imply it is a gimmick is an ignorance of scripture.

What you call a cheap doodad gimmick is what Jesus died to bring you, only a person lacking in wisdom and maturity could hold that position.

If people misuse what Jesus died to bring us and attempt to denigrate the gospel , why would  you allow yourself to be so lacking in discernment that you fail to see through that?

Yes, we know there are hucksters, Jesus did as well, the disciples came to him as there were those who were casting out demons in His name yet were not His disciples, he told them clearly that those who were for Him were not against him, Luke 9-40.
Do you, down to your 3rd and 4th generations, a really big favor and be careful what you take in, if you are making that error in this area, you are probably making it in other areas of your life as well.

So Goodshot!you believe that we should continue to congregate among large numbers of other people during a time like this? Don't question my Christian belief because I don't take the word of some fool that is suppose to know what is best for me and mine.He doesn't have medical credentials, and possibly is even self ordained.

Our church is not holding Sunday services, But if it was
I believe it is a personnel decision between me and God as to whether I attended.
NOT for some government body to say Yea or Ney.

Very true Ray, He is our Lord and Savior, as you and I know, and there are only 2 kingdoms, His of light where Holy Spirit manifests in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, etc. and the enemies where the opposite is the rule, notice in this thread where some choose to post off the wall questions and comments?    Jesus doesn't guide anyone to post anyway but in compliance with the Galatians 5 attributes and yet there are  Biblically ignorant pew warmers way behind in maturity.

Now I could be wrong but,Don't you think the Lord would want us to use common sense in troubling times like these?
I don't professes to have as many Bible versus memorized as Theologians, and Preachers do,but I have read a chapter or two myself. God gave us this knowledge to use ourselves. It would be terrible not too.Common sense tells me that our President isn't trying to stifle freedom of religion.I think he and others are trying to save lives so we can enjoy these freedoms.

Just my take on it, and my rant is over.

Faith isn't about memorizing or even being a theologian, that is what it means when it is taught how He is not a "respecter of persons", one doesn't get favor over another by position, that is a part of what is happening with this spiritual "reset" He is leading His own through right now.
Personal relationship with Jesus was NEVER about an institution, it was always about communicating with the Father as it says in Genesis, ever since the fall we were separated, that is why we are told the people in the old testament "longed for the days" that we are in where we come to Him personally and individually and not "lean on our own understanding" , until we are mature in relationship we must follow what some call "common sense", or sanitation rules as Moses laid down in Deuteronomy or mans laws as we have today, which are based on His instructions to Moses in these areas.

The Lance Wallnau video some time ago told of how this is engineered and meant by China to bring down President Trump, talk about foreign interference! ha!  G-d allowed it to be engineered so it is easy to kill by prayer and by medicine, and a few days after seeing that video the link to Chloroquine, became news.

I know the definition of faith! Again I ask you the question. Do you believe that gathering in large numbers is the right thing to do during this pandemic? Most don't, and during times like this we sometimes have to think about others, and not ourselves. If we need to temporarily shut down public events to fight this so we can live to see another day, then most are for it. The  people we put into positions of authority are the ones that will have to enforce it. This is not about the separation of Church and State. This is a temp order to try and save lives.

YES, it is scriptural but Don't think it was meant to be used like article describes. We did go to Church Sunday. Oddly, 3 people showed up from Lou we hadn't seen or heard of in years, he works in a nursing home. We decided we won't go back til it is deemed safe to do so.

I know the definition of faith! Again I ask you the question. Do you believe that gathering in large numbers is the right thing to do during this pandemic? Most don't,
And will not ----  but those that do have every right to do so.
We were at a Perkins before our Uber Meister governor decided to close restaurants and bars.
They had gone from 100 people an hour to 100 people a day.
Most people would stay home because of the paranoid spiel from TV talking heads.
The few who went out should not be stopped in areas where the virus does not exist.
The small towns without the virus, people cannot afford to be shut down by some god wannbe.

Maybe they will ignore the order to some degree, I would.
It IS NOT going away after this sybolism over substance bs ends, it will ALWAYS be out there.
The most susceptible will die, that cannot be stopped; tens of thousands die of the flu every year in the U.S., that is part of life.
This is being played for all it is worth by those who never let a good disaster go to waste.
Here in Minn. which is the 8th  most strict by gov. orders state in the Union, I can see doing it county by county but that is all.

"Trusting in God is one thing, tempting him is another. CHARLIE.  "

Jesus trusted the Father to the point of His crucifixion on the cross, He didn't lean on His own understanding, today's people who claim faith don't seem to have His faith, even though His whole life was a model for how we are to walk the life He has planned and given us.

In Revelation we see there will be those who have done signs and wonders in His name yet will not know Him in relationship as He says to them, "except for that, I never knew you".   If the people in the NT took one of Paul's garments or a cloth that had touched him and the healing presence of G-d was on it to the point G-d's healing power a brought health and restoration then that was how G-d worked to bring His very nature, which we know is that we be healed, restored, whole, and in relationship. It is always His will that we be healed, the hold up is not up there, the hold up is always down here, using our own understanding to come up with "I don't think it was meant to be used that way", is where we can go off track using our own understanding.

you wont get a straight answer from him. He just rambles on trying to sound scriptural and intelligent and in fact shows just the opposite. Never saw a man who said so many words to avoid commiting himself to a REAL answer. Try YES OR NO!

Bob a good way to put it would be to ask these nut cases if they would stand there granddaughter up face to face with that pastor with a hanky over his face that had already tested positive. Remember this is the same God that sent plagues, armys and floods to wipe out entire societys when he thought a correction needed to be made. He will give this to who he pleases and no magic hanky is going to stop that.  Comical how some will bash a religion because of what the preacher wears but in the next sentence believe in magic cloths over there face ::) I hope a few here keep going to church and ignore the advice of REAL doctors. It will strengthen humanity by natural selection!!!
