Coffee by Ninja

The Mr. Coffee we purchased last winter turned up it's toes and died last Saturday morning. We have been through various brands of coffee makers over the years from cheap to pretty expensive and none have lasted a great length of time. I thought about a Bunn this time but the size we wanted had very poor reviews. I read a lot of reviews on a lot of different brands and the Ninja got the best of the bunch so the wife pronounced it satisfactory to her and that is what I ordered. Walmart and Amazon had it for the same price. Walmart would have involved a 40 mile drive to pick it up but Amazon would deliver it to my door and it would be here on the same day from either place. It was at my house yesterday afternoon and I am working on my second cup from it right now. I just hope it will be as good as my Ninja blender has been.

I didn't even consider another Mr. Coffee. I'm done with that brand.

Water is usually what destroys coffee makers.
Either clean it often, with vinegar or used distilled water.
The minerals in some water destroy coffee makers.

We cleaned it regularly and it still suffered an early death. It was an electrical problem.

We get a lot of thunder & lightening storms here in central Florida this time off year. So I bought a surge protector and it seems to help. My power bill went down a little as well.
