It seems to work ok but I had to log back in. It sorta looks like the FB mobile format. But everything's there
from the old one. And it allows you to log in by using FB or Google. Or by using the old site login way.

I am so lost there I can't even get to the Forums Index page. It just tells me it can't be found. I have never seen such a pile of junk in my life. I have no clue how I will do the admin work when needed there.

I'm as lost there as I would be if I had never owned a computer in my life and just got dropped there.

Your right Bill, it's a maze. Moderaters have now have to report an issue. And have it come under scrutiny.
Other than that, I can paddle through it.

I sure understand that. I'm old and slow to learn new tricks. At this moment I don't even know if I can figure out how to take an admin action there, guess I'll find out the first time I need to do so. This is just so much easier for me to use and to do admin actions on.

That's pretty much the same as they did to the sister site, Hunting Pa, which I stopped using for much the same reason I expect a lot of Graybeard outdoors guys are going to be coming here.

I like it here on reloaded, and even more so now that the old guys are coming here.

I can't find the "my posts" tab anywhere on the other site and I can never remember which threads I posted in. I guess I'll be spending more time here at least I'm somewhat use to this site.

Well, went back to the site and sorta figured it out. I'm kinda like Bill on leaning the new stuff.

yup I never saw a need for change when it added nothing just for the sake of changing. Heck I still have a flip phone and have never texted anyone in my life and wouldn't even know how. I don't even carry the flip phone unless im at camp. If you want to talk to me call me on the land line phone if im not home leave a message and MAYBE ill call you back. I still do every bit of my computer time on a desk top tower type computer. No tapping on phones or not even a lap top in the house. If I have 600 bucks to blow on some fancy phone or computer I spend it on GUNS! Maybe its a blessing in disguise. Maybe its the spark that will light the fires here. I hope this place gets back to the roots of greybeard the way it was when I first came here when people talked guns hunting and reloading not religion and politics!! When it was like that fighting was RARE!

I'm beginning to envision this reloaded site as a sanctuary for people who really don't have much desire to increase their computer skills any more than what they have now. I don't have any problem with that at all, but the other sites must.

They just moved the ( Politics, Religion and the News ) forum section way down to the bottom of the list.
I don't understand why they did that. A few other forms that were on the old format are now completely gone.
I'm not having much trouble navigating it, but it's still going to take a bit of trial and error to get it down pat.
They are still in the possess of jacking around with it.

I have seen something like this new format they are now using before. But I don't think this is generic.
They have added some of their own stuff. It looks like they brought back Religious Discussion.

And they have a "Like " button identical to the ones on FB. If that tells you anything, like I said it almost
looks like FB moble. And they are hooked up with Google also if you want to log in that way.
I try to have very little to do with FB and Google, I just don't trust them.

I notice this morning there are at least twice as many threads here with new posts as there are on the other site. I last visited both last night before bedtime.

I'm still lost there. I can find the what's new link but figuring out what posts are new since I was there from that is a thing still alluding me. I'm still totally lost when I go there. Some day maybe I'll figure it out.

If you tap on your small avatar picture at the top right of the main page a tool bar will drop down.
PM messages are called conversations. To the left of your small avatar pic you will see some small white
straight lines on top of each other with a white dot in front of each one. Tap that and the complete forum index will show up.

I'm only trying to help answer some questions. I'm not real pleased with it either and didn't see any reason
for such a drastic change. Tim is over there trying to guide folks through it.

I keep going back and looking, and don't care for it. I suspect I'm done with it.
