Lever action rifle/shotgun
« on: October 14, 2020, 04:37:28 PM »
I am putting this here as there is no general firearms topic.
They have lever action rifles and shotguns, including rifled barreled 12Ga. shotgun rifle.
It is interesting to see what goes on in the rest of the world, and in this case guns made to by-pass Aussie laws.
On the home page intro there are two 308s not in the catalog yet

Here is another firm that has a lever action shotgun plus a revolver .410 shotgun.

I've just never felt the love for a lever gun. I have a couple beauties that other than being pretty, don't do a thing for me.

When I first got into Law Enforcement here in Texas, every state trooper was issued a Model 28 Smith, an 870 Remington 12 gauge, and either a Model 94 Winchester, or a Marlin 336, both in 30-30.

My first duty weapon was a 4 inch Diamondback, an 870, and a 1958 Model 94 my dad gave me.

Then after a shootout across the river where 3 Oklahoma troopers were killed,  and 1 wounded in less than an hour, Texas troopers were shortly moved to the Ruger Mini14.
I had already had several, and carried one with me that day of the shootout, and was carrying it when we crossed the river into Oklahoma to help.
I still over the years kept my Winchester, and gave it to my oldest son a couple a years ago.

I've always loved the levers, but thought that Marlins were the best, but Winchester the best carrying, and best looking.

For my line of work, when Colt started cranking out A1s, and A2s, I switched to the AR15s.

Never did have a lever action shotgun, and never wanted one. Who knows. I might've liked them to.
You may all go to hell, I will go to Texas. Davy Crockett

Black Aces Lever Action
This one is technically made in the USA.I\
It looks similar to the Adler but comparing pictures it is different and had a different safety system.

Wouldn't mind having one of the Winchester 1887 10 gauge lever actions. A friend of mine had the 1901 version in 12 gauge that was a very fine piece of equipment.

used to be leer actions were the entry level deer rifles. now there all up over a grand and cost more than a nice bolt gun. i have quite a few lever guns but sorry, im not paying over a grand for a 94 or 336
