Any of you guys know anything about it? Does the .950 mean it's almost one inch in diameter?
Or just some name they've given it.

Yes that's correct, a .95 caliber rifle with the bullet being 0.95" in diameter. It was a JD Jones aka SSK Industries special. JD is like that, he loves big bore guns. JD used to advertise with me until we sold GBO. He and I used to talk often.

Parent case is the 20 mm cannon round. This round would actually be necked UP not down as 20 mm is only .79 caliber.

Does he build the rifles himself? It would seem that you couldn't use just anything off the shelf. It sorta looks
like one of those Anti tank guns that Finland used during WWII.

Yes they build the rifles and barrels and such. That is the business at SSK. Dunno if he still does it these days but back when I used to talk with JD regularly he went out on the factory floor and actually worked on the guns himself.

  Hard  to figure how he would chamber that round!  Does that mean the shell is greatly fire  formed with each shot, since the cartridge must resemble a mushroom.?

The case is necked down slightly, but it is necked up from a 20 mm. Sort of like making a 30-06 from a 270.
 It looks like it would be good for ruining the shoulder of the shooter.
