Here in Alabama we have to show a photo ID to vote. Doesn't seem to bother anyone here.

Too tough for some. Plenty of states require ID, only 17 don't

The NCSL categorizes state-level voter ID laws as follows:
Photo ID required (strict): Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
Photo ID requested (non-strict): Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and Texas.
Non-photo ID required (strict): Arizona, North Dakota, and Ohio.
Non-photo ID requested (non-strict): Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Utah, Washington, and West Virginia,.
No ID required to vote at ballot box: California, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia, Wyoming, and Washington, D.C.

What gets me is the arguement against photo ID to vote is that its racist, implying that certain groups of people, based on skin color can't ir won't get a photo ID. Yet all these people have no problem getting and showing a photo ID to buy smokes, buy alcohol, or apply for welfare programs.

Seems like you figured out why those Constitution hating Democrats insist on voting by mail.......even your dead cat or an illegal alien gets to vote whether ITS registerered or not! AND AS OFTEN AS THE AMOUNT OF MAIL IN BALLOTS THEY GET IN THE MAIL!

This thread is about voter ID but since you bring it up.......... Looks like you have some Constitution hating folks in the Republican Party

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.washingtonpost.com/politics/republicans-race-to-promote-mail-voting-as-trumps-attacks-discourage-his-own-supporters-from-embracing-the-practice/2020/08/03/9dd1d988-d1d9-11ea-9038-af089b63ac21_story.html%3foutputType=amp

Number one, it's the Washington compost, number two when creepy Joe even pokes his head out of his basement like puxatauney Phil on groundhog day to do an event he can't even fill a rural 7-11, meanwhile trump can't find venues big enough to hold everybody. H3 could probably fill the Astrodome if it weren't for the covid stupid

And the fact that flooding the mailboxes with mail in   ballots which require no verification that a voter is registered puts that post smack in the middle of the spirit of the tread.

Mail in voting is the most convenient way to cheat, and everybody knows it.

Only difference is, those who intend to cheat, just won't admit it.

It sure is interesting to note how it is always the leftist/democrats, who are continually suggesting new ways to cheat !  Things like no ID, alien licenses for ID, lowering age limits, so giggly 16 year olds can vote..and as Al Gore tried in the 2000 election, suppress the military vote !

Funny how one party seems to attract most of the cheaters...
"They have the guns and therefore we are for peace and for reformation through the ballot. When we have the guns, then it will be through the bullet"      (Saul Alinsky) ...hero of the left..

Blockhead has faulty websites he uses for his so called facts.

Like his list of States where voter id is "requested ". In Texas, no id, no  vote.

Wow stonebird, you are really reaching..buit you should have checked further, so you didn't look silly !

1) You pick out one half-baked, loose cannon, and try to balance  him against the entire democrat party's major attempt at vote stealing !

 2) This Leslie McCrae Dowling has a past in politics, sometimes as a republican operative, sometimes as a democrat operative.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McCrae_Dowless

Just checking a couple on the list there is Rex Gore a democrat and Ken Waddell also a democrat, who he worked with.  Probably if one checks the list, there are some of each throughout McCrae's flim-flam career!

No, it looks like you have not improved your cognitive ability, since your Flounder days !
