Psa has a good price on them right now. Ive had some crappy springfields in the past and would sure like to know if there a good gun by someone whos shot more then a box of factory ammo through one.

Not real sure what the EMP is. Is that the small 1911?

I've had several Springfield guns and been happy with all of them. I have a XD in 9mm, an XDM in .45acp and another XD in .45acp that Matt has taken as his carry gun. I had an XDs but didn't carry it much so traded it off. Nothing wrong with it I just tended to use the Ruger LC9 or S&W Shield rather than it.

Can't remember which of them but I had an issue with one of them. Springfield paid to return it to them and they had it fixed and back to me within a week to 10 days and no problems with it since.

ya its a 1911 that's scaled down to 9mm size or in this case 40 size I guess. Its shorter and thinner and lighter then an officers 1911.
