The Y opened up about a month ago

And I stopped by 2 days ago. Not too crowded, and reasonable rules. I’m happy to be back exercising again. Looks like it won’t take long to get back in shape.

I do miss the free coffee and visiting we used to have. But I guess I can wait for that until after the election. After all most of this pandemic foolishness is about the democrats getting trump out of the White House. God help the USA.....

After about 2 & 1/2 weeks I fineally got up to 53 minuets on my two favorite machines. That almost what I was doing everyday before they closed the Y. I did 1 hour, 20 minuets on each of three exercise machines.

Any of you guys back exercising again. My BP has come down enough to to drop the second pill the doctor had added to my meds. And my BS reading are low enough I’ve cut my insulin by about half. Lost 18 pounds too. And I’m starting to feel great again.

I workout 3 days a week. Multiple old injuries limit it, but it does keep me moving.

I’m most interested in cardiac exercises. Getting my heart rate and breathing up for about a hour a day, 6 days a week really help with my vital signs. Don’t need near as much meds. And after 2 bypass surgeries, and having my left carotid artery cleaned out because it caused a stroke I take the exercise serious.

Like you Dee I have old injuries as well. My right shoulder is about gone and the left is not far behind. The arteries in both legs have some blockage but not bad enough for surgery. And my lower back is a mess too for all the heavy lifting in my first carear. But sitting down just makes it all worse so better to keep moving as much as you can.
