They built 500 street versions of this in South Africa before the specialist ran out
 of money for more.

you probably know im not a ford man by now but actually owned one ford truck. A 77 short box that was my brother in laws. He had it fixed up real nice and then died at 33 years old in a car wreck. My sister gave me the truck. It had one year only produced 351 boss out of a 71 mustang in it. comical thing was it was a 4 speed granny gear transmission in it. The truck had very little low end torque. Most likely do the the huge ports those Cleveland heads had but it also had a single plane eldebrock manifold and a 780 holley which didnt help matters and i dont know what cam he put in it. It was almost like a turbo motor. I had 33 in tires and a 4 inch lift and you would come away from a stop sign in 2nd and mat it and it was lazily accelerate to about 3000 rpm then all hell would brake loose and it would smoke those big 33s. I ended up running it for a year and selling the truck to a buddy who had just gotten divorced and took for about everything at a bargin price of 2k. Found out not much later that i could have gotten 5k just for the motor. He ended up gettting a job in WI and i dont know what became of the truck. I think you said you had a 302 boss Bob so im sure you can appreciate the power curve of that 351. Those 302s had to rev to make power too.
