now on to important things. How is your deer season going? Bucks are in full chase (stupid) mode by me. I haven't managed to get a mature buck within 60 yards of me. That will be plenty close in a couple weeks when I put down the bow and pick up the 45-70. Now back to politics. Trump 2020.

I don't walk too well any more and I was hoping to sell off all my motorcycles and spare parts this past year to buy a quad.  Well we all know how that went.  Anyway here's to hoping for a good economy in the year to come...

Anyway the deer are thick here in town and I'm more tempted than ever to harvest one (but I won't...)

Between too many people moving here, drought and fires it was my worst elk hunting season ever. Three days had snow on the ground and I didn't even see a track on what used to be the elk highway.
Instead of my famed elk green chili folks are going to have to settle for hot dog green chili this year :)

Two biggest fires in state history this year. If we hadn't gotten the snow last week they'd still be going on.

I emptied my po box last Saturday, on monday there was 14 pieces in my Box, only two were actual pieces of mail, all the rest were political fliers, 2/3 were from Alaskan Independents yet right on the fliers was Paid for by Alaska Democratic Party.

Deer season hasn't started for me yet, rifle season starts Nov. 11. I'm still in the middle of waterfowl season & upland bird season. My labs are starting to question my shooting ability, they haven't had many retrieves this season.

Deer season is over here.  It's raining like usual for this time of year in Oregon.  My truck is having electrical gremlins so I won't even think about any elk hunting.

I could really use some good news about now.
