I debated with myself about which heading to place this under, but settled here.. More than any election in my memory...and I can recall back to Harry Truman's 1948 election, I believe this election to be a standout...for it's spiritual implications!

Right now, as Christians, we need fervent, effectual prayer for our nation. ..But we cannot hope to obtain God's blessings when we pray, except we clean our own house, periodically. Let us remind ourselves of a parallel political statement;

Perhaps we Christians in some cases, must apply that same principle to our own churches and lives..
