14 days in the woods
« on: November 25, 2020, 01:01:58 AM »
I have been sitting on stand for two solid weeks, day in and day out, before dawn to after dusk.  No TV, no radio, and marginal worldly worries.  Only listening and observing the natural rhythm of wildlife (deer and turkeys prevalently) coming and going, or as is often the case, merely watching the rye cereal grain grow.  It has been a very good, mostly unsuccessful (hunting not killing), wearying, but necessary "reset" away from the hullabaloo of Covid, the stolen election, and the impending Biden/Harris/Pelosi/Schumer/Socialist disaster.  It is important from time to time to "clear the mechanism" as quoted from Bull Durham.

Returning to the Fake News World, I remain concerned about the future following this reset.  The same impending concerns continue to occur to me.  Perhaps Trump's legal fight will, in the end, pull off a miracle and prevail.  After all, should he lose, his legacy eventually will be that he identified and exposed corruption across ALL of the Fake News Networks, in the American Political parties of both sides, the political weaponization of the Federal Government against its Citizens and
NOTHING WAS EVER DONE ABOUT IT

So much to do about NOTHING.  It will be swept back under the rug.  Business as usual - screwing We The People.

Perhaps this "disaster" will not unfold.  But in my gut, I think it will.

Just tells you that Bill Barr is nothing but a POS swamp creature. The conservative pundits were giddy when Barr was chosen saying that he was going to put Hillary in jail. What a joke.

Can only watch and see what comes down the pike, and respond to reality.

It's going to be a return to the Obama years except worse. If we don't retain control of the senate the country is totally screwed. I don't expect much from republicans but it's in their nature to thwart the democrats every chance they get just as the democrats do to them. Nothing is done for the good of the country anymore. It's just a power struggle with the ordinary citizens being the losers.

. . . Nothing is done for the good of the country anymore. It's just a power struggle with the ordinary citizens being the losers.
Been that way since the first one that figured
out how rich they could get robbing the coffers
of the citizenry.
Look how many come in empty and leave gazzillionaires.
How many come in to politics extremely wealthy already?
Most of the wealthy are bumming around Europe, or laying
out in the sun in the Bahamas sucking
up mixed drinks
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .
