Coulda-woulda-shoulda.

Doesnt really matter why they missed him, it's pure conjecture other than what Scripture provides.
Biblical history says they missed him, and they are lost unless they accept Him as their personal Savior.
They have the same options as the gentiles. Nuthin more, and nuthin less.

That Roman Governor was Pontius Pilatus in Latin. Pontius Pilate in English. A Pilot flies an airplane.

Well gosh , ya sure got me there. Between you and "spell check" I just can't catch a break.
That spelling issue just changes everything.
LOL, yeah some folks think themselves superior.
Now, here's how I feel about Jews.
When Jesus died on the cross, the curtain in the temple split in two pieces.   To me, that meant that Christianity was now the official religion for everyone.
Does GOD still favor the Jews like he once did??   I don't know.   But I admire the Israeli military,  they are tough cookies.
And once being GOD's favorites, I won't bet against them.  GOD may have a plan for them and we certainly can't look into GOD's head and see what that plan is.
Personally, I hope GOD has devised a plan that will put devout Jews in Heaven along with true Christians.
Anyhow, we'll all know someday.   Except democrats of course. :o ;D

God said this:

Genesis:
7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

How that works with them, is up to God.

RON. I believe that the Jews have their own covenant with God. NOWHERE have I read that God said, NO MORE COVENANTS, agreements, they are ALL null and void. I changed my mind. You are NOT my people anymore.

Golda Meir was a Jew. How many here believe that God sent her to hell?? I don't, did not happen.

I believe that God has blinded the eyes of the Jews for then and now.
They are surrounded by millions of satans people who want them all dead, but they live because God is still blessing them. The godless ones have attacked them many times in vastly superior numbers and get their butts handed to them in a sling, because God still blesses them.
In armageddon Israel comes out on top. Because they all suddenly accepted Jesus?? Or because of God's covenant being fulfilled?? CHARLIE.  :o

Bob, the covenant with Issac is thru lineage.
Read Matthew Chapter 1 verses 1 through 16. Emphasis on verse 16.

Christ said to take the message first to the Jew, and then the gentile.

Context is everything. If Salvation thru the Cross isn't for all of man, then the New Testament is a lie.

CHRIST SAID: "NO MAN" COMES UNTO THE FATHER EXCEPT BY "ME"

He didn't say: except for the Jews, I gave them a different deal.

Israel has abandoned God several times in scripture. "Its In Your Bible" and everytime they turned back to God in times of tribulation.

They in the end, once again, will come back in tribulation when they realize that their salvation can only be, by recognizing Christ as their Savior.
SPECULATION on Judaism mixing with Christianity is a fools errand, and a misleading fallacy to those unstudied seeking salvation.

Everytime Israel has turned away from God, He has punished them, and they have always came back to Him in their time of tribulation.

NUTHIN HAS CHANGED.

They denied Christ, ordered by the Sanhidrin through Pilate to kill Him.

Look what has happened to the Jews for the last 2,000 years. Scattered to the four corners of the world, persecuted,  and killed. Constantly under attack, and their still denying Christ.
Once again, at some time in the future, they will be brought to their knees in judgment for their denial of Christ, and once again, when tribulation becomes unbearable,  they will  again turn to  Christ for their Salvation.

It's all in the Bible. It tells you how it ends.

Hebrews 11, tells us that some patriarchs of the OT, made it without a born again entrance, however I hesitate to consider that any blanket type forgiveness..
I tend to think that when Jesus said we must be "born again", that refers to everyone..... see (John 3:3).
The relationship I see between Christians and Jews, as we may feel, compared to a 5th grandfather...  Grateful that he was our progenitor, but still, some distance in the past.
   ...But still..."kinfolks" in a way.
"They have the guns and therefore we are for peace and for reformation through the ballot. When we have the guns, then it will be through the bullet"      (Saul Alinsky) ...hero of the left..
