Dadgum sky in east Texas has
been full of military helos and
big cargo transport planes for
the last couple of days at all
hours, all heading northward
from the direction of Houston.
They're pretty low too, way lower
than you normally see aircraft
of those types flying at.
The first ones I noticed were a
pair of the Blackhawk looking
helos, and they were very low
and loud. And there has been
a bunch of the cargo planes passing
lower than I usually see them at.
Those are loud suckers too.
Very unusual for this area. Air traffic
has always been very light. Most of
what flies around here besides the
normal high altitude passenger jets
is the occasional care flight helo,
(they're distinctly marked and easy
to tell what they are- different turbine
sound too) and the game wardens
fly some kind of light plane that kind
of just hums/drones very slowly along
at almost a crawl.
Anything on the "news " that I missed
about moving things around like that?
