One Day
One day my Savior
Came back in the sky.
As we awaited,
He lifted us high.
Close to the Father,
We worshiped together—
Jesus is Truth in
The dark, stormy weather.
Tongues were all singing
With hands that were raised.
Glorious melody—
The Father was praised.
Soon Holy Spirit,
And Jesus, the Son,
All serenaded,
To God, Three in One.
The Bride now was ready,
Her gown sparkled white—
While everyone praised,
Hallelujah, all night.
The Glory descended
From clouds blue and white,
Preparing the way,
God’s mysterious night.
One day every pain
Will diminish and go,
For now, it is finished—
