RIGHT. The words of muslims are worthless. Out of ALL the treaties the godless ones have made with Israel and America they have NEVER even kept one. Their unholy koran teaches them to lie to infidels, that's us, to get whatever they want. CHARLIE.
LMAO! The American Indian had, and has, the same problem with the United States of America.
The United States raped, robbed, pillaged, and killed their way across America, lying, and breaking every treaty they ever signed, with every single Tribe of American Indian they signed treaties with. And the United States wasn't even Muslim.
Hmmmmmm,
Hmmmm..you have some fairly valid points there, but at a closer look, it was pretty much a 2 sided coin..
Today, it appears things are very different. I don't know how it is where you live, but there are 3 reservations in my home county, and Indians on these three reservations have privileges way beyond what the rest of us have.
1) much free medical/dental, educational help along with some material things being handed over each year bt treaty. To be fair though, these material things amount to little more than 'token' items, per a couple centuries old agreements.
2) They have all the casino rights within the birders of the state, and the state maintains their exclusivity.
3) With their sovereign nation status, they can sell products to outside customers, without the burden of tax on such high taxed items as tobacco, gasoline and liquor. A definite advantage.
4) Shortly after retirement, I took a job at a local hardware/outdoor sports store. Any Indian, coming to the store for any purchase and showing proper credentials,..need not pay state sales tax.
5) Being a sovereign nation, their fish and game laws are not the same, being much more lenient. even though the same fish and game don't recognize borders. I don't mind these things at all, since treaties were made many years ago, providing that 'sovereign nation' status.
6) Highways, pipelines etc, crossing res land pay a hefty fee for doing so, which cost of course, is covered by other customers/users.
7) Yes, cruelty and atrocities were committed, and promises broken, but these events were not all one-sided!
Come to think of it... how many cultures of this world once having conquered a land, have set aside specific areas, where the original inhabitants can have their own "nation within a nation"..and run it for themselves?
9) I hear nobody around here, even suggesting that the reservations set aside , be interfered with.
10) ..And one final point... Any time an individual living upon a reservation, believes that he/she finds reservation life too tough, they can move off the reservation and live just like any other American, with full citizenship, rights and privileges.
Many of these Indians live among us, intermarry, and are barely recognized, unless they call attention to it.
Such Indian citizenship is determined by percentage, it can be challenging for some. Since with area tribes at least, only maternal bloodlines are recognized. Therefore, many people of Indian extraction cannot gain such citizenship, because their Indian heritage comes through the male line.. ..But that is their business, not mine..
In any case, I have numerous friends in such a situation, and they rarely address it.
i go ahead and enjoy certain celebrations on the reservation.. Last summer I had a great day... rode my scooter to the res and enjoyed a Pow wow celebration, where all veterans were honored, Indian or not!
..And by the way, i don't have to say it, but there are many Indian war heroes.. The code talkers and Ira Hayes just to mention a couple.
