To me this was the best looking of all AMC cars ever made.
Not liking his paint job much , nor do I think he really had to put the 444 engine in it but he did what I would do if I had the car and money to do it.
Praise the Lord he did not put ugly big wheels on it.

got say thats the best looking full sized amc ive seen. I even like the color. To me hands down the best looking amc was the 69AMX. matter of fact i think it was as good looking if not more then any camaro or mustang ever was. The 390s were no slouches either. Even in the full sized "Machines" they got down the road and didnt have to apologize to any car. In those little hornets it was FAST! Sad they had to go away when they were at the top of there game. Well i guess not at the top. The amx went away and the javelin's got the 401 which was no slouch either but imo not the motor the 390s were right of the showroom floor. I had a poster on my bedroom wall along side my plymouth rapid transit system poster of those mark Donohue red white and blue amx javalin, hornet and rebel amcs.

That's a nice looking car and x2 on not having the ghetto rims. I cringe every time I see a nice muscle car with ghetto rims on it.

Chrysler really wanted the jeep. And went after it aggressively.
