It's a low down leftist trick..

  .
   New York lawmakers approved marijuana to be sold in government stores.  Some blue states are doing this, hoping to cover debts due to their profligate spending.   

       ..But there may well be another, unspoken angle.

  Even if the crap is sold in a government operated store, it is STILL a "controlled substance".  ...And that is why it is sold in a government store.

  Here's the potential "trick' to it all..  Anyone using a controlled substance, cannot own or even have guns in their home!  You buy the stuff..they can grab your guns.

     Now, if you live in such a state... would you bet for one moment that  a Cuomo, Pritzker a Whitmer, or Newsom wouldn't for a moment, refrain from using such a thing as an excuse to grab your hardware.

  Not only that, but I'm suggesting that some may do so, if anybody in the household is buying the stuff.

   ...A word..to the wise, ...should be sufficient!

  Just in case you didn't read the above link..stating the federal law. here is just one line from the article;

  Federal law prohibits medical marijuana users from possessing or buying firearms and ammunition — even if state law allows the drugs use.

  Read and take heed !

   I  suspect the pot user / gun owner  number in the millions . I dont for see a drug test being administered before buying  a firearm but Joe s  just probably not  thought of it yet .

I have no issues with legislation of weed, smoked it don't like it, my issue is with enriching an already bloated government.

     No drug test needed..  You have a handgun permit..you buy junk from a government store you need ID !

  No further evidence needed to grab your guns, including long guns...  especially in a blue state.
