Might be a little bit much for home defense here, I think that might go thru my walls, the neighbor's walls and then perhaps the next neighbor over as well.

Now if I had a castle and a few hundred thousands of acres to defend against marauding hordes it might be just about right.

Yeah but he said .375 Whelen which is a far smaller case than the round it is now chambered for.

The .338 Normal is on the Rigby case and the Whelen on the .30-06 case.
