Blessed Easter
« on: April 03, 2021, 06:54:30 AM »
May you all have joyful and blessed Easter tomorrow. ;D 8)

I see some Lutheran churches around here are serving breakfast after 6:00 A.M. Sunrise Service.
I may just throw my lardbutt out of bed early and partake.
It has been a decade since last time I hit Sunrise Service; as a youth, Dad and I always went and then had breakfast.

I hope you all are having a blessed Easter.

I was too darn lazy to get up for the 6:00 A.M. Sunrise Service and breakfast that comes with it so I will be going to the 9:30 service then we are heading into the Twin Cities for Dinner as Sharon's nieces place and she gets to show off her new kitchen.
I do not like the new open kitchen all the TV shows are spewing out but her old one was WAY too narrow and small; you could darn near cook on the range with one hand and dig out from the back of the fridge with the other.  :o

Godspeed and Happy Easter. 8)

Happy Easter my GBO brothers.

We had 19 people at Church, several out in bad shape, 2 in the hospitol one with back injury. BRO Fuller was fired up even more than usual with an inspiring message, I could almost see that huge stone being rolled out and Jesus coming out, I really got into it, I think most of us felt something special yesterday. Kids were excited too, Easter egg hunt. I miss the real Easter eggs, the dying and coloring. Had a great meal at home and more fun for the little ones.
We visited a Church several years ago that we knew well, the Pastor came on stage in a robe and sandals playing the role of PETER. He showed Peter denying JESUS 3X, then he walked around the stage trying to show how Peter may have acted and his thoughts on betraying Christ. Very touching. BRO SKAGGS was very convincing. CHARLIE.  ;D ;D
Mr. Charles Glenn “Charlie” Nelson, age 73, of Payneville, KY passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at his residence. RIP Charlie, we'll will all miss you. GB
