Left handed...
« on: February 26, 2004, 07:32:37 AM »
I hope this hasn't been discussed to death; I searched the site and couldn't find any info.

I shoot a lot of IHMSA, but want to try the rifle game...want to begin with smallbore.  I like the CZ, and have shot a couple, and its definately affordable, but I would like to find a left handed rifle to begin with that won't cost me $1000.

Do I have any options?

thanks!

Your options are to buy the CZ and put a cheap bipod on it so you can lean it against a table to work the bolt.  The CZ can be made very accurate with little money.  See the cz forum on rimfirecentral for all the tips.

I ended up buying a lefty Cooper 57M.  It has spoiled me completely for left handed rifles.  The test target was 5 shots into a single hole at 50 yards.

This topic apparently got lost in the shuffle to the new server.

As I recall there was another reply where someone asked for clarification regarding purpose of the bipod, but this is all I have been able to find.

Just to be safe I am going to lock this topic and we can continue the discussion in the new “Left handed silhouette rifles” topic that dawg_doc started.
