Texas Voting On Unlicensed Carry!
« on: April 15, 2021, 05:17:01 PM »
Just heard on local news that the Texas House has voted yes on Unlicensed Carry  in Texas. It has 2 more stops I think before it goes to the governors' desk.
Fingers crossed.

Maybe so

I've never been a fan of having to
be licensed to carry out my constitutional
rights as a law abiding citizen.
The small percentage that can't be
trusted shouldn't be running around
willy nilly anyway

That's great news!

If it gets through the Texas House I'm thinking Abbott will sign it.

We already have it and from what I hear Texas, Arkansas, Kansas and Mo.  will follow suit. Businesses are still able to say no firearm's aloud.

I think you repeated yourself there.  Aren't criminals and liberals one in the same?

Lots of folks in my area upset with
the prospect of carry, but most all
I've seen are people that make money
from teaching CHL classes at
$100.00 on up.
A constitutional carry law would cut
into their gravy bowl.
You'd think people that are involved with
firearms would be enthusiastic that
we're getting to benefit from a
righteous thing such as this, but I
guess profit trumps everything else

Years ago when I go my cow the guy that taught the class tried to adlibe and teach me his methods of combat pistol.
I reminded him that while I had let my Texas po license expire that I was still aware of my SWAT training not only as a SWAT Commander, but as a trainer of SWAT.
He was a little indignant but conceded to omit that part of his personal endeavor. A nice guy but had not risen above jailer in the local county with a ccw training permit.

I can see some of these guys resentment in giving up their yes you can ,no you can't authority.

It's sad that there are gun owners out there who support gun control so they can make a profit but unfortunately there are plenty of them out there.
