I'm not much on electronically
controlled things myself, especially
those that if there's a failure, it'll
likely be a fatal failure.
Those grounded passenger jets
and these cars are a good example.
But. . . . . . .  I'm not so dense that
I don't realize that all that mess is
the inevitable future, like it or not

When hydrogen fuel cell tech trickles down to where it's affordable for public consumption, I'll consider an electric car.  I like quiet cars these days and the added off the line torque would be nice too...
