It would have been nice to know why the police were even there but the tweet only has the pastor's "out, out" rant. I'm not jumping to conclusions and passing judgement as they might have been there for a legitimate reason.

That's what I was thinking also. The lady cop was trying to talk some reasoning with him. Take it outside and find out what's up. For all you know, they might have been looking for a dangerous crimmal who might have been hiding out in that church among congregation.

OK, now that I know the whole story I'm definately on the preacher's side. What I find troubling about the police statement is this:  "In attending public spaces, private homes, and businesses, we continue to strive for voluntary compliance with public health orders." Private homes? Really? What is wrong with Canada's citizens that they would put up with this? The question doesn't really  doesn't need an answer as I know the reason. They are a bunch of----well, wimps, to keep it forum appropriate.

  Perhaps this pastor, having grown up in Poland while it was under the communist boot, had good reason to resist.

They were dead wrong in the first place..but got run off.  So then they come back later with an armed SWAT team, apparently ready to shoot their way in!

I didn't read anywhere, where a SWAT Team fully armed came back later, threatening to shoot their way in if necessary.
I did read where officers apologized to the pastor for actions of the health worker.

  I also added the fully armed...simply because a SWAT team on call, could obviously not be a SWAT team..  My friend Mike, former SWAT team member never went on call without being ready..that is why they are called ...Special  Weapons and Tactics units.
  It seems if the same personnel were to simply call upon someone to apologize for their actions..then they would be called  a police delegation.

   Yes; it doesn't seem that it would require 10 officers plus a SWAT team to offer an apology to the church !

  Of course, I didn't say the SWAT team threatened the church.  However when an armed SWAT team shows up, it would seem that the implication may be clear.

  Of course, unless the team were dressed in their gear and /or armed..who would know they were SWAT ?

   ..As far as the West Bank is concerned, I am not up to speed..but will check it out .
