T/C may be for sale

I just read that S&W will sell the Thompson Center Arms business.  Apparently the T/C production line has not been turning out Encore frames for a while.  I had one on backorder but was advised by the vender that they did not expect to have any T/C Encore, frames or complete rifles, in the near future.  Does anyone have any information on Thompson Center Arms' possible sale?
