  LA today...whether LA, San Fran or wherever lefties 'govern' there is paradise !  Hw many people in those homeless tents, went to LA..planning to make it BIG...and live their 'dream' !

   The biggest danger to intelligent, thinking people elsewhere, is when such places are on their way to total collapse, is that when people flee these leftist Utopias, they will take the stupid political mindset that caused such destruction, along with them to their next address.

That is very true. I am 130 miles n. of the city.  We have many of the well to do N.Y. city people that have summer homes and  then retire in this area so their $ goes further.  They take over the town meetings and try to push through zoning , speed limits and all kinds of stuff they were used to in the city.  And they still vote for the same type of leaders.

    We see the same here, what with a recreational lake in our backyard..  They can't seem to operate on the 'common sense' rule, preferring instead, to try to enact a set of rules and regulations.

  So far they have not prevailed, since the local population is of a conservative thought pattern and inhabit about half the lake properties.  Some of the 'lakesters' are also conservative in their approach also.

   My old Army buddy who lives in Vermont, says the NY City types have about ruined Vermont also !
