  The cooperation Pres Trump engineered between Israel and some of the Arab states, could expand, if only the hate inspired forces would clear out. He proved it can work...
     Israel is tired of the conflict too, and I think we can rest assured that if the everyday folks in Gaza would kick out the war parties, Israel would help those people to develop their areas. It would be a good investment and a win/win for both.

  ..Could be taken in by their Muslim brothers..there is certainly plenty of room for them.  With all that area of the earth being essentially theirs, why not take their brethren in..and give them land and jobs ?

    See the map below...  Those green areas are predominantly Muslim countries..that little red speck surrounded by a green ocean..is Israel.  Does it make a scintilla of sense, to try to force those troublemakers into that tiny red speck, rather than to absorb them into that huge sea of green?

  They would never needed the Gaza strip, had their Muslim brothers looked out for them and provided them a small area in the big green space, where they could live and prosper...if they had the initiative and ambition to use it .

  We should keep in mind how they got the Gaza strip in the first place...  Israel handed them over the strip when the Palestinian authorities promised lasting peace, if only the Israelis would give them the Gaza Strip.

  Now of course, we know how good their "word of honor" is !  Israel actually knew the Palis would not keep their word, but they were forced into the giveaway by foreign powers.

GEEZERBIKER. Right you are Sir. I'm 73 and  clearly remember the palis being offered their own land and them refusing several times. Israel has traded land for peace several times.
