had a good day.
« on: May 29, 2021, 10:53:36 AM »
Took a break from the house and the wife and i took the challenger for a ride. Went to my parents for a couple hours then headed up town and actually went and ate at a resteraunt for the first time in about 2 years. Had whitefish and chilli cheese frys. Dammed good. Restaurant is kind of cool too, its called hudsons classic diner. They have two hudson hornets hanging from the ceiling and a couple old harleys and triumps and even an old norton commado. Lots of antique car tin signs too.

Glad you enjoyed your day. Wife and I drove into town to pick up a few things at the grocery store today. We detoured to the Rancho Grande cafe that was in business when I moved here in 1956. It has always has excellent food and plenty of it. What did we have? Chicken fried steak. Yep, at a Tex-Mex place. They are know for their above par chicken fried and these were just as good as before the great COVID shut down. It was nice to go into a cafe and sit down to a good meal, especially when you hadn’t been there for about a year and a half.

I agree about the masks. Our little idiot in charge hasn't lifted the the mandate about wearing them but it is largely ignored by most around here.
