Only 6.5 out of 1000 men are dumb enough to get married these days. It's good to see men waking up to the fact that marriage is way too risky of a venture due to government laws that reward women for getting a divorce. Never enter a contract with someone who gets rewarded for breaking it.

Just me-  I'd like to see women that
falsely accuse men of things they
didn't do get tried in the same manner
and with the same penalties as what
they falsely accused the man of.
I've personally known 2 men accused
of rape that were innocent. The men
were arrested and charged, but after
investigation were proven innocent,
but  the women just walked away and
resumed their lives. The men had their
lives essentially ruined in every way.
I know a couple more that were
accused of fathering children that were
known to not be the father, the women
just needed an ATM.  3 of those were
pre DNA testing. If the women hadn't
had a conscience fit, it would have
been a real mess to be polite

The laws in this country are so skewed in favor of women it's sickening. Look at sentencing for female pedophiles vs. male pedophiles. If a male teacher sleeps with an underage girl he gets at least 10 - 20 years in prison. If a female teacher sleeps with an underage boy she typically gets 2 - 3 years max.

Notice how you never see "feminists" who preach "equality" protesting in front of the family courts for men to get custody in more divorce case to make things "equal".

I doubt it has much to do with divorce court decisions. I think it probably has more to do with moral decay. Why buy the cow, when shes giving the milk away?
I also see a lack of commitment in the 40s on down age groups.

I was married 11 years the 1st time. Constant BS. I filed for divorce, and offered her everything if she'd sign the papers and not fight it. She signed and 40+ years later, I still see starting completely over was a good trade.

2nd time, I was married 2 years. Seemed like a lot longer. I filed for divorce, and told her she could have anything in the house if she'd leave now. She left, a year and a half later, she got her own place, I rented a truck, and took her stuff she had asked for out my house.

Why did my divorce(s) go smoothly? Its like any other fight. Whoever takes the first swing has a better chance of winning. But the trick is to put down the BS, and conduct the split like a business decision. AND, accept the split whether you want it or not.

My 3rd marriage is on its 35th year. Best thing I've done to date.

I had 2 like that. A few hundred bucks and a lawyer remedied the problem.
The truth is, you make your own picks, just like she did. Its nobody's fault but your own if you pick the wrong one.

With the experience I have now I would agree, I now know the red flags to look for but when I was 18 I had no idea that my girlfriend who I married would end up becoming up drug addict, alcoholic, rotten mother, controlling narcissist, threaten to take my kids away from me, take out credit cards in my name without my knowledge then max them out and not pay them, threaten to divorce me if she wasn't allowed to control the finances, blah blah blah.

I know a fisherman from Maine who was always fairly poor but fishing is in his blood so it's his way of life. One of the things he fishes for is Elver Eels. I can't remember what year it was but around 8 - 10 years ago the price of Elver eels skyrocketed, he literally became a millionaire within one season. As soon as he became a millionaire his wife decided she now wanted to divorce him so she could take as much of that money as possible (and she did).

i married my first wife because she was eye candy. Overlooked the fact she drank to much. Thought i could get her to stop. She cut back to an expectable level till she got the ring on then about told me to pound sand when i complained. Second one wasnt till 13 years after my divorce. I told myself this time im going to be careful. told her when we got enguaged that she was on a 10 year probation period before we would get married. i stuck to it for 6 years. Shes a keeper though. best thing that happened to me was age. My brain left my groin and went back to my head. Hot is only good for about 6 months then it doesnt make up for the things you cant except. First one ended up marrying a buddy of mine even though i warned him. I thought it would work out because he had a bit of a drinking problem himself but even he couldnt put up with her drinking. First it cost her her job then she started drinking up his money and was at it by noon every day. They lasted 3 years. Really cost him because he was saving money for years to build a new house and built it the year they got married. He had to pay her a BIG settlement to keep the house. Said he might as well could have spent the money instead of saving it because all he had into that he saved about went to her and he ended up with a mortgage to pay her off. She blew the money in a couple years and ended up with a VERY alcholic commercial fisherman that is worse then her. Match made in heaven!! I laugh about it all the time. I lost a lot of guns paying her off but it was money well spent!!

Clearly women are the perfect ones, that's why they get custody in 90% of divorce cases. Women also initiate 80% of all divorces, get you to pay alimony for the rest of your life, get you to pay 1/3 of your gross income in child support and take half of your net worth on the way out the door. Sign me up for that marriage deal!

First marriage to HS sweetheart, lasted 10 years, 2 kids. 2nd was 41 years MAY2 this year. Patty is my rock, don't know what Id do without her. We love each other more today than when we got married. 7 kids all together.
There are 3 things that, in our opinion are necessary for a lasting marriage. To begin with, a marriage has 3 parts, MAN, WOMAN, AND GOD, without all 3 it will fail.
#1, go to Church together, #2 PRAY together, #3, NEVER get too busy to got out on dates, it's very important to MAKE time for each other.
As others here have said,  MORAL DECAY is killing America, our families and our nation. Our schools and colleges have turned into moral cesspools. Many there teach Anti Christian, anti American lies and garbage, liberals should never, NEVER EVER be allowed to teach our children. I'll shut up for now. CHARLIE.
