Savage Striker rimfire pistols
« on: September 20, 2021, 12:38:59 PM »
Lately I have been on a rimfire kick. I took my Savage Strikers in 22LR and 22WMR to the range for the first time in a few years. I had forgotten how accurate they are, and that's with me firing them. I hardly hear of them, never see another at the range. Does anyone else on this forum have and shoot them? They are like a poor mans Anschutz Exemplar, left hand bolt action. They are easy to shoot from a rest on a bench.

I have also been shooting the 22’s. The old model single six, savage rascal and a 223 have been on the blaze. 10/22’s next. I have my hunting tools that get a few pushed through them every year and then put to work also...

I have never quit shooting 22s, they are the most fun you can have with your clothes on.
I have never seen or handled those pistols in the flesh.   Most folks today shoot either handguns or centerfire rifles where I go.
But, I have read that they are a barrel of fun. :)
