Lucky us, Radio Shack here went out of business. Seriously though,  the truth probably is that someone has already been using something close to that. The opposition will somewhat depend on which tribe gets and uses and gets caught first. IMHO, the human race is not smart enough to stop something like this until it's to late.

Yea, our Radio Shack closed too, too bad really as they had a bunch of tech that can be put together to make unintended gizmos.  I made a yote caller out of RS parts.

As to off the shelf drones, enemies are already using them, albeit to a lesser deadly affect.  Iran sent drones to damage fuel stores in Saudi, and also harass our troops, which is why we bombed a drone manufacturing site recently.
