Bill Maher has tested positive for coronavirus.

In a tweet from the official "Real Time with Bill Maher" account, it was announced that the 65-year-old comedian has tested positive for the novel virus, resulting in Friday's May 14 taping of his show to be canceled.

"Bill tested positive during weekly staff PCR testing for COVID," read the announcement. "He is fully vaccinated and as a result is asymptomatic and feels fine."


The statement added that the show's production has "taken every precaution following CDC guidelines."

"No other staff or crew members have tested positive at this time," the statement assured. "The show will be rescheduled at a later date."

Reps for the star did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.

As he often is, Maher has been vocal about his thoughts on the coronavirus pandemic, recently slamming blue states for keeping schools closed.

In his closing monologue in April, Maher took aim at the media's "panic porn" during the pandemic, citing a Dartmouth study showing that "nearly 90 percent" of U.S. national media coverage was negative in comparison to other countries even as conditions were getting better

"[Democrats] also have a greatly exaggerated view of the danger of COVID to and the mortality rate among children, all of which explains why today the states with the highest share of schools that are still closed are all blue states," Maher lamented. "So if the right-wing media bubble has to own things like climate change denial, shouldn't liberal media have to answer for 'How did your audience wind up believing such bunch of crap about COVID?'"

Maher also pointed to a Gallup survey that showed the vast majority of Democrats incorrectly overestimate the probability of being hospitalized from COVID, with 41 percent believing it's at least 50 percent while only 10 percent of Democrats correctly said that the probability is only 1-to-5 percent while 26 percent of Republicans said the same, stressing that Democrats were "wildly off on this key question."

"When all of our sources for medical information have an agenda to spin us, yeah, you wind up with a badly misinformed population, including on the left," Maher told viewers. "Liberals often mock the Republican misinformation bubble ... but what about liberals? You know, the high-information, by-the-science people?"

I took the Pfyzer vaccine and they say it is good for the two or three new strains that have come out.  It seems to be the best of the vaccines.  I mentioned that I checked for antibodies two weeks before taking the vaccines.  Then two weeks after taking the vaccines, I had developed antibodies through testing.  I had to pay extra for checking for antibodies both times.  I say it works.  I don't wear masks anymore and have been in crowded places.  If Bill Maher got covid after the vaccine, I would like to know which brand, and if he is asymptomatic, then he is a carrier but will not get it.  I would take another test or two.  Like someone said, sometimes the tests are false.  Elon Musk had 4 tests and two tested positive and two negative.  Hmmm.  He probably only had a cold.   Nothing is perfect, but I got the shots because I have multiple ailments that could make Covid really bad for me.

As I understand it, NO vaccine prevents you from being infected.  What they do is prep your body to fight off any infection, which it seems like Mahr is doing.  For Pete's sake, it doesn't matter what you've been vaccinated for, you can carry a virus on your skin or clothes and, under your thinking, be a "walking bioweapon".

Effective rate was determined on whether you ended up in a hospital if you got infected- -not if you got infected or not. That's what they said.

Now we see the some the most vaxxed countries with highest C-19 disease. India for one and Seychelles is the highest vaxxed compliant country on the planet just went back to full emergency lockdown.

What marvels me is all the great work being done on C-19  therapeutics , like Ivermectin,  hydroxychloroquine,  bensolide, and 12 other therapeutic treatments to cure C-19 diseased people.   <-- NOT!  Just joking. Where did you get this information?  Less than 2% of India's population has been fully vaccinated and at current rates they won't see 70% vaccinated for 8 years.  Do you just make this stuff up?

  This is no surprise to me, since she is helping elderly folks WITH covid daily, and has been for the last year or more...

  Thing is, those that test positive "after vaccination", generally don't get very sick and rarely end up in the H...including my wife.  She isolated herself for two weeks, and then went back to helping elderly folks...

I've read that India and the Seychelles took the Chinese vaccine.  Then they found out the Chinese vaccine only worked about 25% of the time. 

America developed the best vaccines and the rate of infections have dropped drastically since the vaccine roll outs.  Other countries didn't do so well. 

Also, India is not one of the most vaccinated countries.  There are millions in rural areas of India who haven't gotten the vaccine.  Millions probably have gotten Covid in India and in Africa and other 3rd world countries because they haven't been tested or don't have enough test kits.  No one knows.  This is why mutated strains have been popping up in these countries now.

That is fake news.  The COVID numbers in the US peaked in Early January and nose dived since then, they were injecting very few people at that time.  Even more proof is my state of Wisconsin, we peaked in late November and did same nose dive, but started well before any shots were given.  The rate of infection would have taken same path, vax or not.

What I find interesting is that if you die with COVID - you die from COVID.   They have no problem promoting all +600,000 people who have died with COVID everywhere.

If you die after being vaccinated - you don't die from the vaccination, you likely died from and underlying condition not the vaccine.  Wonder why they don't give the number of people that have died after being vaccinated???  They only include the tiny number of people who blatantly appear to have had a reaction to the vaccine.
