It's probably pretty close to that here, but the US is not keeping those records of who gets COVID when vaccinated... Why would you want actual data like that?  Mess up the whole plan!

Math and statistics are an interesting subject.  If 1 million people in Israel were vaccinated (a low number I am sure) and the statement of "84% of Vaxxed contracted C-19" is correct, then 840,000 people contracted Covid.  However if 1000 people tested positive ( a recent daily average) then the statement would mean 840 people who were vaccinated tested positive - even if not showing symptoms.  Israel actually reports that about 52% of people TESTING POSITIVE (not necessarily sick) have been vaxxed. One way of distorting the facts is to just switch a few words around.

I am sure I will be told I am wrong and actually 84% of ALL vaxed people have covid.

Thanks for the clarification, the thread title says 84% of those who were vaccinated got covid, a much higher number.

As far as vaxed who contracted covid and died, how many UNVAXED got covid and died?  That is an interesting set of statistics to compare.  600 vaxxed infected severely and 159 dying seems fairly small compared to 60 Million getting vaxxed...  Just checked, this was for Illinois so 600 of 6 million FULLY vaxxed and 13 million partially vaxxed. So .01% of fully vaxxed.  How many unvaxxed dying??  According to the Illinois Department of Health:
"Since Jan. 1, 2021, 159 deaths of Illinoisans with COVID-19 represented “breakthrough” cases, or cases in which the people who died had been fully vaccinated. Those deaths represent 2.3% of all COVID-19 deaths of Illinoisans since Jan. 1, according to IDPH."
So if 159 (vaxxed) deaths is 2.3% of all covid deaths that makes 6913 DEATHS OF UNVAXXED!!!!

Wow 6913 deaths of unvaxxd in Illinois since Jan1, 2021; only 159 of fully vaxed... Better call Dr. Fauci

For some reason the government get to count however they want to.  If you die with COVID you die from COVID, if you die after vaccination there is no proof that you died from the vaccination. If you have symptoms of COVID, hurry out and get tested, unless of course you've have had the vaccine then we do not recommend you get tested.  The Government gladly counts every case of COVID, yet does not keep a tally of those who have "breakthrough" cases.  Weird isn't it...

I just filled in the rest of the story, 159 Vaxxed people died out of 6913 who died of covid, that leaves 6754 UNVAXXED folks who died of covid in 2021.  Best to only believe the statistics you like...

theres enough "facts" pushed by both sides of this to make your head spin. supporters and people against it on both sides of the political arena. I had the shot. Do i think it gave some kind of protection? Yup. Do i think its going to kill me NOPE. Do i think im safe forever? Hell no!  Some say covid was created to kill us some think the vaccine was.  What i do think is its sure not the end of the battle. I think this will be around forever and just keep mutating. Would i get another shot down the line? I dont know. I know i wouldnt jump in line like last time. I wonder how many have died over stress worrying about whether it was smart or not. Whos a guy to trust. Your doctor? A doctor on tv? A politician? A news reporter posting stats mostly to bash the other party? Someone on the internet? I guess the only way we will know is 10 years from now when more of one side is dead then the other. Im sure as hell not a doctor or scientist and wonder if they really even know. So i wont give advice to someone else. Im not qualified and might just be killing someone with my opinion.
