The reason there's so many money
transfer places and western union
places around here.
Any local bank pretty much specializes
in money transfers out of the country
and most all traditional banking functions
are all but set aside in favor of it.
None even advertise home or auto
loans anymore.  Every grocery store
with the exception of the Aldi has a
western union or some kind of money
transfer service at the service desk.
That's the main reason I deeply hate
having to go to any service desk around
here, because there's always at least
one border jumper sending a roll of
hundreds south of the border, and to
be bluntly frank, they're really too
stupid to know how to have their paperwork
ready to go to speed things along,  and
the majority are illiterate and have to bring
their taxpayer educated anchor baby to
fill everything out after they borrow a pen
from the clerk. That's even with a spanish
language form in front of them.

Criminals and undesirables are everywhere
nowadays. I just didn't know how to spot
them earlier in life.
I never knew that there were prostitutes
so widely spread ( no pun int.) all over the
place until it was pointed out and explained
to me by two officers I was talking to on
a not-quite-related matter.  I guess I was
more naive about things in life than I
realized. I never used to think twice about
people aimlessly driving up and down the
street here either.

  I guess I should be thankful, thus far we have little or none of that.  Our doors are rarely locked..im fact, my son's regular use door, has no lock.

  I probably should not be so cavalier, since we know there are some drug heads in the area, and we never know how desperate one of those may be.

  We do have an active "neighborhood watch"..  Not formal anymore, but stil maintained by neighbors..

News this morning says that of the thousands coming in through Laredo and out to all parts of the US, 40% are testing positive for Covid..say nothing of other rare rain forest ailments !

  ..But we must know by now, that this Covid, masks and other atttendant crap..is all for mind control, trying to turn people into willing zombies !
