I went to my friend's range today to burn some powder, it relaxes me almost as much as reloading.
I took a T/C G2 Carbine with an MGM 21" 22LR barrel with a match chamber. A friend calls my T/Cs
erector set guns, sure doesn't affect accuracy. Next was a T/C Encore with a 24" factory barrel in
223. I need to try another scope, the scope doesn't want to track anymore, must have had it on a
45-70. It still put five shots touching, in the wrong place but not bad in a 20 mph wind. Next was
my CZ 527FS in 22 Hornet, a slick little carbine that still puts the shots where you want them. Last
was a Savage Striker in 22LR, 12 shots in a ragged hole less than a quarter in diameter. All shots
were at 50 yards in a 20 MPH wind. I am not a target shooter, more a plinker that enjoys an outing
and burning some powder when I can. My friend's range is 1,000 yards, 50 yards as about as far
as I can lug a target stand, the "big boys" shoot the 1,000. Stay Safe and shoot often!
