We're gettin swamped here in Texas with "walk arounds" nobody knows. When I sit on my own front porch, I've got a little pistol laying on the table beside my coffee cup.
When we go to Amarillo maybe once every month or so, Linda reminds me to get my rifle for the hour ride where there ain't nuthin but road and canyons.

LOL, TM I've been retired a long time. Around the house is shotgun, and pistol weather. Outside the city limits here in West Texas, you can see for miles. The weather is a little different, but I'm dressed for either.

56 miles. On a clear night you can see it for miles. On an overcast nights sometimes it reflects onto the clouds.
Its white, and well lit from the ground.
On a clear day you can also see it from several miles away.

    I heard it is very visible and an impressive sight at that.  I have a nephew who lives in Littlefield and drives for Walmart..he goes by it quite often..

We haven't done the walk around since it was finished, but are planning to visit again before winter. I take you some pictures. Its well done.
