Anyone use a Williams WGRS  Rear Sight on a Handi?

Thinkin about Putting One on My 45/70,  Will the Factory Front Sight Work with the Williams Rear?

I've used one on one of my 45-70 Handis, I don't think the factory sight will work unless you want to sight in way high! I used a Williams shotgun shorty base and Firesight,  it's in the FAQs Peep and Firesight link.

Only a tang peep will allow you to keep your front sight.
