Magnificent Seven engine
« on: September 16, 2021, 03:40:25 PM »
I've never been interested in the
Magnificent Seven movie enough to
watch it all the way through.
Steve McQueen is sitting in the shade
at one point after being fired upon
and him and a villager are looking
for the shooter.
In the background when they're not
talking, you can just barely hear an
engine running. It sounds like an
older single cylinder gas lawn tractor
like I use, or some old small tractor
like they had in the 40's or 50's, like
one I've seen that started with a
crank handle in the nose

Any movie fans know what that was?
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

I have watched it and never noticed that sound but I watch movies for the story and ignore any mistakes I catch. There are always plenty to ignore in any movie. It's Hollywood, not real life.

Well I wasn't looking for historical
mistakes since it's a movie and not
a documentary. I just noticed the
engine noise and couldn't think of
who might have been running something
and muted the program, and the
noise quit when I muted the sound
before I could get up and look
outside
I just thought it was strange that
they would leave something like
that in
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .
