Haitian criminals kidnap missionaries
« on: October 17, 2021, 09:15:46 AM »
I've just now heard about
this and they didn't give
many details yet.
I wonder what those that were
declaring that haitians were just
unfortunate souls that were only
looking for an opportunity to make
a living and were just peaceful meek
refugees

As far as I know,  yes

The only "news" I've seen says 16 Americans
1 Canadian and 2 French priests in a separate
incident at the same place
I've tried to look for something more,
but there's not much to see unless
you want to see football
Animals endangering lives doesn't garner
much media attention

Haiti has been a train wreck for well over a century.  It has a history of political gangsters who have stolen from the people and sucked cash sent to help the people.
There are 'foundations' from other countries who do fake rebuilding jobs, so they can launder money, rather than help the people.

This is especially egregious, since the direct aid given to the people by these on-the-spot missionaries, is genuine help.

Doesn't it seem that with the UN being involved in so many things around the world, that this is one positive
thing  they could do...kick out the gangster politicians, and aid the people to a better form of government?

Not impossible...Reagan did just that in Grenada..  And shortly thereafter it was done in Panama..by the US..

Why can't the UN be useful in this way?

BTW:  The next big takeover was by the Clintons, ...at Waco !  Was it a bloodier takeover than the first two?

If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

In other words. Nation Building! Revolution and change comes from within, and cannot be imported.
It has been tried time, after time, after time, and it never works.

The people have to be willing to make the sacrifices, and the effort to improve, no outside entity especially the United Nations can make the change.

According to OAN this was a heavily armed Haitian gang that did the kidnapping
