Here is a pic of red fox caught on edge of plowed corn field and hay field... putting your canine sets in edge situations  are a high percentage set for canines traveling  and hunting.

88 The trap is a Northwoods nbr 2 with offset jaws, three swivels in chain and a PIT shock spring which is along the line of JC Conners shock spring. I used a bmi earth anchor and 12 inches of 1/8 cable  for a stake.
