those old 7 and 8 cav ideals were great molds but they were heavy. Good thing is theyd eat up a 20lb pot of lead in a short time. Even the new 4 cav lymans are great molds. Not so much there 2 cav garbage though.

yup I have a 38 wad cuitter 10 cav H&G. When that company went under i thought the world had ended. then balliostic cast took up there same great workmanship and then they failed. Probably the best molds ever made.
