BRITISH ARMORY MARKS?

We have a S&W revolver that we think was "Lend Lease" in WW2. Don't know the model but was told it has British marks.  Do you know the marks? Thanks.

I believe that is referred to as a "Victory" model. On the S&W forum there are some guys that have an extensive data base on the Lend lease Victory revolvers. They can and will provide you with more information than you can imagine. Plus they can/will add your gun and information into their database.

It's got the British broad arrow marks, the FTR/MA 54 is Factory Thorough Repair Munitions Australia 1954.  Just means they rebuilt it in 1954 at the  Lithgow Small Arms Factory in New South Wales Australia.  The D arrow D is British Department of Defense.
