Collectively the Australian voters chose to give up their guns. Why on earth would they agree to do that?

Just looking at a real world model of what could or couldn't happen here.
Australia is a pretty good model quite similar to the USA; and it looks like the Aussies are getting a pretty good beat down from enforcers working for tyrants.
We haven't seen anything like that here. In fact, we saw the opposite when Joebama's BLM/Antifa shock troops rampaged around the country and our enforcers stood down. However, I'm pretty sure if it was MAGA forces wildly demonstrating to bring back the Constitution, stop corruption, stop vote fraud, or stop poisonous injections the enforcers would have given them a beat down. And followed up with an aftermath like we see with the Jan 6 protestors.

I didn't have anything to do with what is happening in Australia. AND, there is nuthin you, or I can do to save them from a fate only they can decide.

If you set yourself up to be dominated, a dominant force will step in. They did this to themselves, and only they can undo it.

Well, depending on the administration in place at the time, I believe "our own historical past" would indicate that: they have in the past, and under the right circumstances, will in the future.

I don't think looking at Australias' present predicament is even relevant. Our on past is the strongest indicator.

Yeah, clintons army murdered 76 people.
everything about Waco was unnecessary according to local law enforcement.
They knew Koresh very well and could have grabbed him most any time.
